If it doesn't help, then he shouldn't have to use it right. Why use something that doesn't help? Explain

Not surprising. They are kicking footballs, not people.

Thats not what I meant. Its not performance enhancment. Thats the point. Its just for safety. Every pro sport allows it

Every pro sport has blood tests aswell?

If it is illegal in most states, then maybe it is dodgy.

I bet Joshua Clottey wished his hands had numbing solutions injected into them while he was schooling Margarito only to get injured in the fight.

yeah, I think it's bull**** that he gets away with that.
Paulie Malignaggi has used the same solution before.
It shouldn't be aloud. It's cheating.

it doesn't help them kick the footballs harder or anything though, it just takes the edge off a pre-existing pain. it's not completely numbing though obviously as that'd be a detriment to your ability to compete if anything

But if it allows him to hit as hard as he wants without pain, surely that is an enhancement.

If there was something you could consume to take a punch and not get hurt, that is also an enhancement isn't it?

Safety is if it protected him from damage. This allows him to take more pain than protect his hands from getting hurt.
