Good job to Golden Boy Promotions and Mayweather in setting the bar. This needs to happen with EVERY fight not just because its Mayweather requesting it for his fight with Pac.

The blood test immediately before the fight would actually be most important test. EPO (the basic formula of what Mosley took) is something that dissolves in your system as you increase your heart rate. It has something to do with getting more oxygen into your blood stream. That's why they test the Tour De France riders thirty minutes before a stage begins and immediately after it's over. They compare the two results to see if there are any irregularities. Listen.....if Mosley was doing this stuff back in 2000-2002, how far do you think they've come since then? It's not a matter of Pacquiao being asked to do too much, it's a matter of him wanting to do too little to put all this to an end. Marquez would be smart to ask for the testing as would any fighter that gets into the ring with anyone who is about to repeatedly punch them in the face.

anyone who is the medical field knows that having a tattoo and drawing blood are two different things. Tattooing targets the skin not the vein, you do not draw blood out from tattooing. Please stop acting like you are medical experts. To some people after taking blood they feel weak. That's a Fact!!! This is just some power play by the Mayweathers. How sure are you that he will not be demanding something else after this. You give Jr to much credit..this coming off a guy who basically came in heavier in his last fight. The reason why they need to take this blood test is to performed on a blood sample that is usually extracted from a vein in the arm using a needle, if happen this during training or before 30 day prior to fight means the fighter it seems weaken his strength and power. this is a reason why the team mayweather do this because they know how powerful and strength manny bring on the ring.

The greatness of Pacquiao has been defined no less than by Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd is trying to change the rules.

Floyd is afraid to face Pacquiao without the ridiculous drug tests. Pac has agreed to 3 blood tests including random urine tests. The blood test immediately after the fight in the locker room is the most important test.

Now, even other fighters are afraid to face Pacquiao without the test.

When people begin to wonder how Pac is able to exceed human limitations, and then accuse him of taking performance enhancing drugs without the slightest evidence, and then refuses to fight him, that's called GREATNESS and EXTRAORDINARY. Everybody else just becomes ordinary fighters.

Pac will have the last laugh when the blood test administered immediately after beating Floyd is found negative. After all the hoopla and doubts, Pacquiao becomes even GREATER.

See this is the problem, now it's everyone against Pac right? There was only a handful of people accusing Pacquiao of using PED's. When Pacquiao refused to do more thorough test, he opened the flood gates on himself. This is no one's fault but Pacquiao's. If he just agreed to the test he'd be fine. Instead he makes the dumbest comments ever heard, "I'm superstitious", "I'm scared of needles", "I'll take the test up to 30 days before, and right afterwards". I don't understand what the difference is, I've had blood taken before. I felt woozy for maybe 30 seconds, ate a cookie and was fine. I hope the entire boxing world stands up to this, if not Pacquiao will leave a black eye on boxing just like the one left on baseball. Marquez is a warrior and never backs down from a fight, especially one against Pacquiao, which he has craved since their last fight. If he is willing to jeopardize the fight with the test, I think any of his future opponents should do the same.

This is the problem with the "you are treating Pac like he is guilty" dumbass argument. MAYWEATHER IS GOING TO DO THE SAME THING. His training will be "disrupted" just like Pac's would.
