ortiz is a top 10 p4p level fighter.

we'll just have to see how he develops.

right now the best guy who can make 140 is pacquiao.

since he's probably not gonna fight at 140 anymore , bradley is probably the best at 140.

ortiz and khan is the legit young challengers. both have questions about them and both have bad marks on their record but they both have skill and talent.

hatton and marquez are the old farts with the name recognition that can fight at 140.

then you have the rest like urango , campbell , holt , torres , etc.

140 is the deepest division in boxing right now.

Victor Ortiz didn't learn his lesson. Diaz was catching him when he was coming forward. My problem with Ortiz is that he's a very hittable and Diaz was someone who was tailor made for him. He's only 22 and hopefully will get better but right now, no way...not even close. And he couldn't finish Maidana and to get to that top level that's something he needs to do. Talented, yes...ready for the current tops at 140lbs, no.

The kid still has to prove he really does have heart. Hopefully he took that loss as a lesson and vowed never to act like a ***** again. He has the skills to go real far but the jury is still our if he has the mentality it takes to be a champ.
