Cycling has the best drug testing in the world. Its all year round and they can wake you up in the middle of the night just to get a sample.
If cyclist can do this all year round why should pro boxers, who participate in one of the most dangerous sports in the world, refuse do a less strict programme during a 8 week training camp?
Because when has a boxer ever had to do so? Why start now? Is the safety of the fighters more important now than it was in other fights?
Was the NSAC ever in question?Comment

A boxer will refute this when:Cycling has the best drug testing in the world. Its all year round and they can wake you up in the middle of the night just to get a sample.
If cyclist can do this all year round why should pro boxers, who participate in one of the most dangerous sports in the world, refuse do a less strict programme during a 8 week training camp?
A) There is no basis for going the extra mile wen you have never tested positive for anything;
B) Why suddenly change the rules for just one fight:
C) Unless this is common practice adopted by boxing in general, one has a right to question it or it's motives.Comment

You dumb ****, those were the same performance enhancing drugs that slipped past the allmighty USADA as well. Marion Jones ring a bell you moron?Comment

Are you ****ing kidding me? THG wouldn't have shown up in a blood test either, WADA didn't know it existed and therefor didn't test for it. Learn the facts please. No test back then would have detected it.
And there is most likely similiar derivates of more well-known steroids out there today.Comment

When has a boxer ever had to pay a million dollars for every pound over the limit?
Enough excuses. Actually, this Olympic style testing should be the norm. The CHAIRMAN OF THE NEVADA MEDICAL ASSOCIATION has labeled NSAC testing "a JOKE." Now, for the biggest fight in it's history, one participant is refusing to take what SHOULD be the required testing? And you guys have the nerve to defend it?
DISGUSTING.
Man up, boxing fans. Either you're a fan of the sport or a fan of the fighter. Pick one.Comment

God, I hate arguing with idiots...but, he never refused to take drug tests. Just not any tests 3 days within the fight.
He's willing to take one immediately after the fight though, which is more useful information than any of the random drug tests you will be able to take throughout training camp and leading up to the fight.Comment
