that floyd and his cohorts of ex convicts and crackheads are not the authority and governing body to control pac of anything they wish for?? a group of no credibility must not demand the pound per pound # 1 to stoop on their level. as simple as that .

he's never failed a state commisions test before/asking him to go through with the tests now w/ a clean track record really makes no sense - the same tests that have caught former steroid users

all of this blood test hysteria is based on speculation from a former prison inmate/convicted drug trafficker

        is that good enough?

I have no qualms about Manny taking the tests, but random? **** Floyd's camp. Pac has already said he's willing to take the BLOOD test pre-kickoff or after the fight, but not a few days before the fight.

This is one way of saying "Now I have a valid reason for pulling out of a fight with Pac and keep my "0" intact.

Bull****. How does he know its going to be on the eve of the fight? It's RANDOM. Next *******.

It's called a contract and both sides can have their demands, but apparently, only Pacquiao is able to ask for $10 Million per pound over weight but Mayweather can't ask for random drug tests that they would be BOTH tested for? Pacquiao has secrets.

Pacquiao should be tested BUT in a matter that everyone else should be tested according to that particular state's athletic commission not some special blood testing.. What makes pacquiao-mayweather so special that they need their own special blood testing? BUT other fighters that fight in that same state don't? Can you answer that OP?

so pac should just do whatever mayweather wants him to do? it's all bargaining and mind games. it'll happen. i dont know why you all are worried about it.

little stories like this come up to keep the buzz and promotion going.

                and yes, mayweather still shook.

Give me ONE legitimate reason why he should. If a group of people knocked on your doorstep and accused you of being a **** and demanded you go through a cycle of tests to prove that you were NOT a ****, is it your responsibility to comply? Is it your responsibilty that you prove you are innocent? These tests are akin to the Salem Witch Hunts. You've already made up your minds that Pac is guilty and feel that the burden of proof lays on him.

The problem here is that the accusers are demanding the accused to prove he is innocent. Pac doesn't owe anyone ****.

Here's the summary: If Fighter X doesn't have to do something, I shouldn't have to do it, either. It's not enough for Mayweather to say he'll take the blood test, it's about other fighters in the sport not having to take similar blood tests as what is being asked of Pacquiao. It simply isn't fair until and unless ALL fighters are REQUIRED to do the same thing.

If that were the rule on the books, then I would say "Damn right, Pacquiao had better take the blood test." But it's not, so singling him out for this made-up stipulation isn't fair and won't pass the smell test. It's selective persecution and it reeks of fear and cowardice by Team Mayweather.

I think that Team Mayweather has finally found a way to pull out of this fight and try to blame it on Manny Pacquiao. I'm extremely upset about this development, but if this is how it goes down, it will be worse than Floyd's obvious ducking of Margarito.

That was my first thought when I heard about this. Mayweather is scared of losing. He knows he cant beat Pacman. Maybe Pac should make some demands of his own. Like, Winner takes all.

Look I don't think the main problem is the testing, it is the fact that they want him to give blood 24 hours before the fight. Pac agreed to give blood right after the fight, I don't blame him for not wanting someone putting a needle into his arm and drawing blood before an event as big as this. They aren't going to find anything different if they test him 24 hours before as opposed to right after. Either way this pisses me off because I wanted to see this fight
