Maybe this is a publicity attempt as some have said. How often do you see a boxing headline on Yahoo's main page? This will stir up interest even for casual fans.

Unfortunately, the sport of boxing will suffer if the fight dosent go through. In addition, the NSAC horrible drug testing system has been exposed. Shane Mosley never tested positive- yet was tied to balco scandal. The california state athletic commission has used newer aggressive testing with random checks- and their fish net caught 65 bastards red handed in their net. Is it in the interest of the NSAC to have the biggest fighters be caught with random testing? Do they need a baseball scandal?

The testing has to happen! The testing should be administered to continue the resurgence of boxing into mainstream sports. If two of the biggest stars in the game are unable to make this fight happen due to this bull**** then all of us will have to seriously question why the hell we support boxing!

I couldnt disagree with you more - I dont think its obvious. Lets be objective here: If you suspect your opponent of taking an illegal substance then you would want the same to ensure that everything is above board. Also remember, its not one-sided, Floyd will be subjected to the same terms and conditions. If anything, and based on the accusations that Pac is taking something illegal then, you have to wonder if Pac truly has something to hid. if so, does Arum and Roach know and is this their reasoning for being so adamant about NOT agreeing to the terms. The fight shouldnt hinge on this, hmmmmm......

Several time i mention it here. Mayweather jr dont want to fight pacman, he can get several reason, the truth is that he will loss to pacs and to avoid is to make several reason asking the thing not even happen in boxing since from start, The way to duck a fight is to ask impossible thing. Mayweather jr will retired again without loss because he dont want to fight to a person who could possibly beat him. Manny Pacquiao dont need mayweather jr, its the boxing world need them in the ring. There is absolutely no reason for Pac not to take the test! I can't imagine that Mayweather loves needles either! This is not something that just came up! The Mayweathers and several others have been very vocal about their belief that Pac is on something! I hope Mayweather sticks to his guns and demands random drug testing! TAKE THE TEST!!!
