If they can't agree on something everyone loses.
    i wouldn't mind random testing.

the problem is it's not the nevada state athletic commision or a sanctioning body asking for these tests.

it's an opponent. makes it more complicated.

if a commission/league/association of a sport orders things for everyone , it's not a big problem.

when a fellow fighter is making another fighter do something that no one else has to do , it becomes a game of chicken.

both sides will start hurling insults and accusations and it could kill a possible fight.

pacquiao didn't refuse the tests. he agreed to the bloodtests.

the argument now is about how many tests. meet in the middle. problem solved.
The problem is the timing.Manny doesnt want to get tested 30 days before the fight.Drugs have cycles, that's when he will get caught. He doesnt mind 5 minutes after the fight because he will have made his money.

The opponent is going through the same. They are using an external agency which does this for the olympics and everything is done like the way they do the olympics. There are designer drugs which dont show up in urine. If Manny's not on them why wouldnt he allow 2.5ml of his blood to be tested?

If you've been to General Santos where Pacquiao lives, people there are very superstitious. Pacquiao actually believes that the blood taken out of him a day before the Morales fight caused him to be weakened which is why he lost the fight. But Pacquiao is not the only superstitious person in the Philippines. The majority of Filipinos are superstitious. Americans and westerners would probably not understand this thing, but that's just the way it is.

Being superstitious is especially true with gamblers, and Pacquiao, having a ******** background as a ****fighter, is certainly very superstitious.
