Timothy Bradley refuses to be a sparring partner for Manny Pacquiao.

Even though Pac is above Bradley as far landing a superfight, I still think bradley thinks he is the man at that weight and sees Pac as a future competitor.Look what happened to Shawn Porters career because he sparred tough with Pacquaio. Remember the talks of him knockdown and/or hurting pacquiao? Now people know who Porter is and are interested in him, I'm sure that probably had something to do with him being on Showtime the other day.
Think if rumors spread that Bradly knocked Pacquiao down or out?! People would hear that and it would boost his credentials and popularity.
IMO, he has nothing to lose sparring against pac and only things to gain.
I would do it if I were him. I mean, he's a force at 140 right now but people aren't exactly lining up to fight him nor are big contracts coming his way. Why not give it a shot?
Also, Should Floyd beat Pac, and decisively, They very well MAY go back down to 140... and if that were to happen I think Bradley would be near the top of that list.
Also assuming by that time Bradley has another good win or two under his belt.
Like I said before, it may not be on the burner right now but it could very well be in a few short years as things change fast in boxing. I don't think Bradley wants their camp to have a look at him behind closed doors.
And not only for Pac, but for Khan as well...Comment

I agree that at this time it doesn't look likely with the picture being what it is currently.
But given a Pacman loss to Floyd, some more solid wins by Bradley.
Pac/Roach could very well decide that maybe welterweight IS to big for them.. and if they DO decide that, then 140 it is.
And if it is 140, then any other fight besides Bradley would crazy.
You never know how things turn out, but it is a reasonable situation that could happen...
What is even more reasonable, is a fight between Khan and Bradley. being Khan is in the same camp it would do the same harm for Bradley..Comment

He can use Judah to prepare for fighting a southpaw...and perhaps someone else like Spinks..Or Alexander
Bradley would be for another aspect, as I keep outlining. The work rate, chin, and footwork of Pac. Which Bradley might not be quite as good, but he's up there.
There will be a thread about Mayweather's camp reaching out to Bradley in the near future, once the fight is actually signed..Comment

no matter how valid the reasons are.... saying no to pacman at this point in time is like saying no to the royalties of england if they ask you to walk alongside them.....
excuse me for for the oa comparison... but pacman is the (debatable) king of the boxing world at the moment...
he is definitely missing a and loosing a lot by refusing to be with.... ''the man''

i had this feeling too, that bradley may just want mayweather to win..you're right.... he is looking at a bigger picture here, but it's not about fightin khan...
it is more of the fact that pacman is fightin an american....
don't get me wrong, don't wanna be branded as racist.....
but i will bet my ass, i don't think, if there will ever be, a filipino guy would evr accept to be a mayweather sparmate... if mayweather is fightin the pacman.
this is before i heard about the khan thing and all that other mumbo gumbo
lol @ the royalties of england thing.. stop giving him ****, its true. you have to be SOMEBODY to say no to pac as a sparring partner. he is one of the most popular fighters now and getting ready for one of the biggest fights in history. cut the guy some slack at least we got a laugh out of itComment
