haha, how is that the same. Theyre charging for every pound over. Have you seen the JMM-floyd weigh in and know how much floyd paid?

Theyre not charging $10 million for illegal wraps. I think Floyd would gladly pay that if he could.

pac team is very smart they know that floyd is a cheater in weight and could weight up to 165-170 lbs in fight night if they allow floyd to overweight during the weigh in.

there's about $80 mil. dollars reason for both sides.

floyd would not pull out and neither would pac if the other guy comes over.

that's why just have penalties for going over.

$10 mil. is way too much.

$1 mil. per lb. is acceptable.
1M of 40M is like paying JMM 600k out of floyds 15M+ purse. he will definitely weigh in over 147, he can give a fuuck less. 10M penalty is guaranteed no cheat. hell they should do 15-20M per pound over.

Shouldnt be a problem unless Mayweather intends to come in overweight.

This is a direct result of Floyd's doing. PBF already thinks he's the greatest ever so he doesn't have to do things that other boxers routinely do, which is to make weight. OK, so he only did it once against JMM. But doing that lead to this demand.

Normally, I'd say an athlete of Floyd's caliber wouldn't dare pull the same ***** move twice, but we all know the truth: Floyd DOES NOT CARE what the media or fans think. All Floyd cares about is WINNING AND MONEY. He will come up with whatever convoluted reason to justify his dishonorable actions to Brian Kenny.

At first, I thought $10 million was too high. But I'm guessing Team Pacquiao started with this high number so there's room to negotiate to a number that's more reasonable that will still keep Mayweather honest. If the agreed sum is too low, Money will have the option of ignoring the agreed weight limit. (I'm assuming the fight would go on if he goes over because it's impossible Team Mayweather would agree to a fine and no fight. If Team Pac is demanding a fine and then no fight, I suppose it would be for Mayweather wasting their time and effort.)

For those saying Pac is scared of Floyd coming in overweight, to me it's more about Floyd not having to worry about cutting weight. That's the real advantage.
