HAHHAHAHAHA Nice one. Although there is a good storyline there with Green having destroyed RJJ in less than a round, I gotta think X schools the Aussie for 12 rounds. I'd LOVE to see Bad Chad vs Hopkins, but like Shaw said Bernard's chasing that paper. So even though he said he "don't fight in Europe", looks like he will. According to his map, at least.

before i wasn't down with hopkins fighting green, i think that there are a lot better fights that hopkins can and should fight, but enough is enough, i'm really tired, worn out, and plain annoyed by green and his over confidence. i really don't know what to think about his win over jones because had hopkins fought jones we would be saying the same thing, jones was shot because hopkins was going to lay the beat down of the century on him. so, i don't have any real feelings on that, but what does get me fired up is how green is trying to propel himself into the A level, with fighting a once A level guy. it's like someone beating on meldrick taylor of today and acting like the beat the meldrick taylor in his prime, it's really absurd as a boxing fan to see.

for shutting up someone and bubble popping purposes, i would like to see hopkins slice up green for 12 rounds, but as a fan of boxing and a hopkins fan, i would much rather see him fight someone else. and although i would still like to see hopkins beat up on roy jones, i don't think it would be all that fun after it happened, i think i would feel guilty knowing that the guy was damaged goods going into the fight. still two more good quality fights in hopkins.

no he wont because Hopkins want's to win a belt in a 3rd weight class. He already stated this. Then he said he wants a heavyweight fight before he retires.

After Green KO's banana hopkins i dont wanna hear 'in his prime he would have done this, would have done that' thats what u all said after the jones fight. excuses coming from all directions. I love that everyone still under-estimates green. Makes me smile. Buh Bye Bernard.

This is a good article. However, I'm very interested in where Mark Vester got that Hopkins quote from. On December 11th, I published a very similar article on ESB. Here is what Hopkins said in Vester's article:

"Nobody's mentioning Danny Green but me," Hopkins said. "I'd get on a plane for 13 hours if that's what it took. Why not piggyback off [Green's wipeout of Jones]? I can see the promotion now: Can Danny Green do the same thing to Bernard Hopkins that he did to Roy Jones?"

And then the quote in my article is a lot longer with Hopkins going into full depth, but Hopkins says pretty much word for word that is said in this article. It seems like Mr. Vester cut a large chunk of it out and used bits and pieces for the article.

Here is what my article says:

Danny Green became somebody when he knocked out Roy Jones. Listen, I don’t believe any Hall of Famer has gotten knocked out in less than two minutes in the history of boxing. So why not piggyback off that? Why not use that?” Hopkins said. “I can see the promotion now! Can Danny Green do the same thing to Bernard Hopkins that he did to Roy Jones in Australia? That’s it! Let’s ****ing see it!”

But also in my article Hopkins says....

“Nobody’s mentioning Danny Green. Danny Green mentioned me and I’m mentioning Danny Green
