Shane Mosley: ATG? Or just a Hall of Famer?

I think Mosley has already cemented his spot in the hall of fame, but is he an ATG?

**** yeah, atg!!Mosley has been competing at the elite level for more than a decade with huge wins & losses that any other welterweight & junior middle would have lost to!!For example Forrest at 147 beats any elite fighter fighting there right now!!Winky prime at 154,beats any fighter fighting there right now too!!

I think I agree. Mosley has done enough.

Not an ATG, he got beaten quite badly in his prime like 3 times. Vernon forrest lost to mayorga twice aswell, so i dunno about him beating every elite fighter at 147

He is my favorite fighter. I think he is a great fighter. But not an all-time great. Is a lock for the Hall of Fame.If he could've beat Forrest the second fight. Plus With the resume he has now. I think he would've been an ATG. The reason why I say this. Most ATG fighters find away to adjust. No matter how hard the style is. Leonard did it with Hearns the first fight. He also did it with Duran in the second fight. Ali with Frazier and Norton. Pac with Morales.
He was close to beating Forrest the second fight. He was just scared of that right. So imo, great fighter but a All-time Great fighter

Somewhere he will show up in the all-time great list but I don't think it will be anything near the Top50... I know I will catch some heat but bring it on...

His resume at 135 is ok he fought contenders but nothing that really catches your eye... the best was probably Holiday who was a good fighter.

He moved up to fight DLH (a guy who is more accomplished then him) and beat him twice.

Loosing twice to Forrest who had a lot of skill but simply never really put it together...

moved up again and lost to Winky twice who also is a skilled fighter but has not done anything else then beat Mosley twice (he pretty much lives on Mosley, Trinidad was way too late)

fought Vargas 2006 twice... probably about 5 years after Vargas was any good

                  lost to Cotto

                  and beat Margarito

So if I count right he had 11 fights of notice against good opposition... and is 6-5... if you ain't count Vargas who was years away from being competive 4-5...

Mosley as well never impressed me with his ring smarts... physical he is very talented but his ring smarts ain't up to par... you probably heard the saying that you should never give Ray Robinson rematch... because he will beat you... Mosley never found a way to beat Winky or Vernon... he won against DLH in the rematch but was worse then in the initial outing... and beat up Vargas ok...

He though has one hell of a chin... he took shots from guys like DLH and Vargas for example... and if you ever saw the knockdown against Forrest... it is really a miracle to me how he survived this round and the fight... somebody can probable post it... it was baaaaaaaaaaaaad
