I don't think it's totally out of the question. We've seen guys who can box like JMM and even Cotto show his defensive liabilities and Mayweather can do everything they can and better. The question is whether or not he can handle Pacquiao's return fire and he has arguably the best defense in the sport though I don't think his defense is as impressive against southpaws.

It's hard to keep doubting Pacquiao because he continues to rise to the occasion and prove a lot of people wrong. I picked Cotto by KO because I knew he would be able to find him and I thought his punches would have more damage even though I knew Pacquiao would be landing more in return. His ability to take a punch was is what did it for him in that fight which was a question going in.

I wouldn't be shocked if Mayweather made Pacquiao look amateurish but like I said it's hard to keep doubting Pacquiao.

Well there is a chance he could do that. Floyd is great at shutting guys down in there. Manny is lively enough so that I don't see it happening, but it does not mean it cannot happen.

Strange things can happen when these two get into the ring. I think we will see some vulnerabilities from both guys. You have two incredibly talented men looking for advantages from an opponent who is not willing to give away anything.

It is going to be a great fight.

Impressed but not VERY surprised. It would be the final proof of Mayweather's greatness he's talking about all day long.
Mayweather has better skills than Pacquiao, what would really impress me is Mayweather being able to win a dog fight with Pacquiao.

I cannot predict a winner of this fight. It is impossible for me.

I fully expect it to go the distance. There will be no stoppages. You might see a flash knockdown or two, but that is about it. If their are knockdowns, I actually see Floyd scoring them due to Manny getting reckless.

You know why this is going to be a great fight? Because both Floyd and Manny will be facing an opponent, who will be able to exploit each others weaknesses at any given moment. Both have great stamina and both feel they cannot be beaten.

This fight will see swinging momentum from round to round.

I think pretty much it is based on different things...

If he wins by ''running'' he will be a runner...

If he wins by KO... Manny was too small...

I just hope that everybody act as grown up with respect for both fighters and don't start making excuses...

I know that you Mr. Webb are a Mayweather fan but my guess is that you are old enough to give probs to Pacquiao if he wins... the same way I do...

I hope the same goes for the Pacquiao fans... but I doubt it... many seem to think if they give probs to Floyd it deminish was Pacquiao is or has accomplished... so they always have to put that into a sentence... that even if he gets beat he is still better... but it could also be that that's only the guys who are here and posting for nonsense because they discovered that there is a Pacquiao... I expect the serious posters like jrosales etc. to give Mayweather credit... the same way I do Pacquiao if he wins

              I would not be surprised.

Pacquiao too small??Well,in 2008 he fought JMM at 130.
So in 2010,I dont see him still a 6.0 WW large beast ala Margo, sorry *****s.

              I mean,PBF said it,but it's true,it's a lose lose situation for him,except the cash.
Cotto was tailor made for Pac,and maybe Cotto wasn't confident anymore, with a ****ty corner,he fought the wrong fight.I'm no sayin Cotto was shot,I dont think he was, after Margo he SD Clottey with one eye and destroyed undefeated Jennings.

Manny deserves his WW title, dont get me wrong, but tough he ruined Cotto,I see Williams and Mosley as the real treats,AND MANNY THE MIDGET.Like it or not.
              It is what it is.
PBF still fightin midgets and tailor made sluggers.Period.Sorry,but fact.

I think I'll laugh and rub my hands with glee either way (as in, even if the tables were turned on Mayweather)... but I still want Mayweather to win.

I'd honestly be disappointed. I would love to see Mayweather in a fight that isn't 100% under control.

At the same time I would be greatly impressed by Mayweather, even more so than I am now. If he can do to Pac what he did to Marquez there really is no denying how good he is.
