The German-based guys don't even seem to want to fight each other, so I doubt they'd fancy a trip to America to face Pavlik. The European champions aren't any more known to American viewers than Espino was, so I doubt HBO would be willing to pay much for those fights anyway.

Spinks, Mundine and Foreman are all talented and skilled, but Foreman is only just getting started at LMW, and the other two seem to be past prime and without a top win for quite a while. Not really the sort of people that KP should be facing if he wants to get his reputation back to where it was.

Williams is the clear choice. They were set to fight anyway, and although the Martinez decision was dispued by some people, the fact is that it does make Paul an even more solid opponent because it's another world class name on his resume.

Bute and Martinez are good boxers, and it would be great to see them vs Pavlik. If those fights happen then I'll be happy enough. But Williams should be first in line.

Mundine fights on Jan 11th, vs Medley.

I don't know, if Paul Williams, Yuri Foreman (WBA LMW champion), or Cory Spinks (IBF LMW champion) have amitions to move up.
