yeah had he won, he extends his career overseas for a couple more fights, makes a couple of mils more until he gets ko'd again...but dude he lost brutally first time out, nobody's gonna give him that kind of cheese anymore i doubt...he should just take that 4 mil, invest it wisely, and live good while he still has his health...

Brutally is a bit of an overstatement. He got knocked down, got up by the 5 count, and finished on his feet, only getting hit by maybe 4 shots out of 20... that isn't my definition of brutal.

TKO'd, he was on his feet when they stopped the fight and immediately talked to the ref afterwards, he wasn't even out of it that much at the actual time they stopped it. That isn't "knocked out".

people miss the point.he didnt lose his reflexes as much as he lost his confidence.comparin him to floyd is a bad example.mike tyson would be more accurate.all the physical gifts but once he lost,he was never close to the same.when you dont have that aura of invicibility guys are gonna attack you much differently.he needed that b.s weight loss excuse to tryt an convince himself thats what it was

honestly i don't think jones needed any excuse...the shelf life of a prime prizefighter is a short one...by the time a fighter gets to 35 he's pretty much done...
