Doesn't really take much reasoning to see why Pavlik will just break Floyd down and end him late.
    Reach is extended by footwork.

So... Given Floyd has 4645363465 better footwork in there, the reach advantage would be nullified or even bested. Lunging straight right hands, as he used against Corrales. Lateral movement and slipping of punches to deliver the left hook, which btw, is NOT pitty pat. That thing is dangerous.

As for Kelly's power, yes he hits hard. But as I said he's slooooow. Floyd's strategy would of course not be to shell up against Pavlik..

    He'd move.

And he would see every punch thrown, and act accordingly.

yea if he cared about legacy he'd challenge pavlik for the wbc belt at 160, so he can get another official belt in another weight class.

Floyd would land NO significant punch if he does this. He'd never plant his feet for fear of getting hit. Even is he was planting his feet, who the hell thinks Floyd's punches are stronger than JT's or Hopkins? Floyd's power against a MW is laughable.

The whole while Pavlik will just be hitting to the body the entire time. Crushing Middleweight power blows to ribs over the course of 6 or 7 rounds will slow Floyd's footwork down for the inevitable straight right to the chin.

                  Pavlik by Late KO.
