Nah, this guy in the article is nuts, Ward has a medium build and is well suited for 168.......HW,

he doesnt have the body to put on that much weight and be effective.

Joe Louis was great because every other heavyweight was around his size.

the heavyweight has way too many super heavy's that reign so anyone who wasnt a natural cruiser will have a hard time putting on the pounds to stay competitive.

but maybe ward will pull a RJJ and move to heavyweight to fight a lesser heavyweight champ.

nothing wrong with that but he would never ever EVER beat a Klitschko or anyone else over 230

              lol don't forget B-Hop

Anyways that article is absurd. It is sad that a few will actually buy this on account of how desperate the U.S. is for a heavyweight.

1st about Ward as a heavy. He has no power at 168, what the **** could he do at heavy. Even someone like cunningham who's a legit CW and at least naturally 205ish, probably bigger, moving up would be too much. He doesn't have much pop at CW, heavyweight would be suicide and Ward is a 168lb version. Give me a break.

His trainer said "No doubt Ward is stronger than Kessler"
In terms on punching power hell no lol Anyone who would even try to dispute that is delusional.

And in terms of general strength, what they can put up when lifting, i very much doubt that Ward is physically stronger than Kessler.

He "outmuscled" him on the inside when they fought but that doesn't translate to meaning that he's literally stronger. It's technique and experience when it comes to that sort of thing and Kessler is terrible at it.

In terms of getting rough in close Ward would have a handful with Abraham & Froch. This guy should focus on being sucessful at 168 which is no guarantee.

              Heavyweight lol

yup, even a "small" heavyweight like Boytsov, Povetkin or even Adamak would break him in half.

Men dont fully develop muscle maturity until late 20s...26,27,28.... and some Men do have the genetics to still be growing vertically until that time also... depends on the person & their genes. Look towards your father and grandfathers to see how you willl develop.

I do agree Andre most likely wont be a HW. Though he is 6'1 his frame isnt that big to compete with the super hw's imo.
