I think this fight will end up in a stoppage from a cut on Martinez, or the ref will feel as though he has seen enough. Martinez is a durable fighter and took some huge punches from Kirk Johnson in their fight. I dont think Peter is going to knock him out cold....like many other people he fights. I do think, there will be a substantial amount of clinching, and some dirty tactics from Martinez. Peter should not worry, because I dont think he is a threat to hurt Samuel IMO. Peter will win the battle on the inside, with short compact punches to the body ultimately wearing him down. He more than likely will put together some huge combinations on him, but I still dont think it will be enough to flatten him.

Either way, I dont think this fight and the word "fireworks" will by synonymous in any way whatsoever.

I think Peter will demolish him. Much of the future of heavyweight boxing rests on his shoulders. He's young, has great strength and size, and his chin looks like granite from what we've seen. I think he will easily surpass Ibeabuchi (which wouldn't be hard; he'd have to beat two top ranked opponents) but whether or not he is heavyweight champion material remains to be seen.

samuel peter is certainly no Ike Ibeabuchi, but he does appear to have enough power to at least make some kind of impact, he's not very tall though, and at this point in time i cannot see how he could beat vitali, i would like to see him against a larry donald or another decent top ten heavyweight

Peter will treat Martinez like a punching bag for 5-6 rounds before the ref realizes that it's a total mismatch and mercifully stops the fight

You should be rooting for Martinez....he's a sacramento fighter lol
but it is the biggest mismatch EVER and when I go to the gym I want to see him in one piece

I have a feeling Peter will knock him out in 1 or 2
