Kelly Pavlik is a BEAST @ 160... NOBODY beats him, INCLUDING PAUL WILLIAMS!

Pav is too stationary and not fast enough to keep up with Martinez. Pav also does not possess Paul's workrate, something Sergio was able to handle for a major part of the fight. Sexy Sergio can potentially have a field day with Pav.Comment

Pavlik doesn't seem to have elite ring generalship, Wiliams can take this fight inside or outside. That doesn't mean he'll win no doubt, but it does say that he has options.
Until the Martinez fight, P-Will was showing an iron chin, but Martinez 'exposed' that it isn't. Paul has a sturdy chin, but Pavlik can hurt him if he lands.
When it's better boxing skills vs. puncher's chance, I usually go with skills, so Williams is the pick. I always thought that this would seriously be a FOTY candidate, even last year before the Hopkins fight, when everyone thought Williams would get smashed. This fight would be fought at an insane pace until the end.Comment

Pavlik knocks JT out after having been down on the cards and nearly KTFO himself... What happens next?
He fights a very, very close rematch against JT. Fights a gimme against Gary Lockett. Gets schooled by Bernard Hopkins. Fights 2 nobodies in '09.
Yet now he's a world beater, who can't possibly be dethroned at MW.Comment

I have said this before, and I continue to say this now...
Kelly has NEVER been beaten at 160... Kelly is too strong and will hurt Paul to the body....
Kelly will work the body early, and finish it late....
Quintana and Martinez were both hurting Paul.... Kelly will KO him LATE...
Thats my prediction, and I am sticking to it....Comment

Kelly can throw just as much and throws with good power on almost everything. PW doesn't have much power and the majority of his shots are windmill pitty pat ****.

- He doesn't do that to begin with (use his size - fight big), even vs 147 or 54lbers
- While he may still have some reach, Pavlik is as tall, stronger and sure as hell has a better jab.
You seem to be massivly overestimating PW's abilities. Where you get the idea that PW is a multi-dimensional, multi-style boxer is beyond me. And even if he was he wouldn't beat Pavlik attempting to fight on the outside.
His footwork isn't that of B-Hop or Bute either.Comment
