Yeah,im not too sure about that one. They both have high ko rates,if you were to use Taylor as a measurement of Kelly and Arthur's power,it only took Pavlik 7 rounds compared to Abraham's 12.Keep in mind the Taylor that Kelly fought was an undefeated fighter who fought with confidence. The Taylor that fought Arthur threw very cautious jabs,no right hands and had been KO'd 2 out of 3 fights prior to Abraham-even when Taylor threw punches without conviction,Abraham's face looked bad.He could not afford to cover up and only throw on occasion against Kelly,or he could get hurt as well-nobody is indestructable.

Pavlik beats up a bum and now he wants to talk shyt! Dude you and your camp canceled 2 fights against Williams because of an alleged staph infection. If I'm Williams camp I say phuck off Pavlik and let him wait his turn. A rematch with Martinez is much more compelling because I believe either one of them (Wiliams or Martinez) would beat a one dimensional Pavlik.

        Needs to fight someone big

Pavlik needs to fight Williams or Abraham or someone considered tough because the last couple of guys weren't in the same class. I don't think you can stand in front of Pavlik and win, but I think Abraham would be the more risky fight. Hopkins proved that angles, feints, and footwork give Pavlik trouble. Neither Williams nor Abraham have these skills. Maybe Martinez would give Pavlik more trouble than these two.

aint no way he fighting aa, he got the super 6 to worry about and potential match up against ward in the near future. If staphvlik doesnt get the fight with p-dub ,he should look to fight sturm early 2010 and then that mite get p-will's attention to try again for the 3rd damn time.with the exception of p-dub and staphvlik ,the 160 pound division is one of the worst if not the worst divisons as a whole. Not much options.

pavlik has a good chance of beating williams if he can catch him. that being said, he aint catchin paul. Paul throws WAAAAY too many punches for Pavlik. Think pavlik was frustrated fighting B-hop? Wait until he fights paul. Pwill by UD.

As for Williams, I think that he would beat Jermaine Taylor and Edison Miranda too. So there is my opinion of how much adversity Pavlik would have to deal with if he fights Paul. A better chin and better stamina than those other guys.
Pavlik took out Jermain in the 7th round though, 5 rounds before AA did. I still think Pavlik can beat AA, but he'd be tagged a lot. It'd be a war. His right hand to the body will be a good weapon against AA's guard.
