As for Williams, I think that he would beat Jermaine Taylor and Edison Miranda too. So there is my opinion of how much adversity Pavlik would have to deal with if he fights Paul. A better chin and better stamina than those other guys.
pavlik's power is better than martinez, a jmw. and he had pwill hurt in the first round. pavlik is a true mw imagine what he can do to pwill, if he catches him its goodnight.

Sigh. This is the kind of ******ed logic that I hate around here. You have to look at WHO was doing the hitting, not that it was being done. Martinez is extremely fast and smart. Pavlik is neither one. Paul Williams was slipping a lot of Martinez' shots after he adjusted to his speed. Pavlik has no speed to adjust to. And he really only has two reliable punches. A jab and a straight right. Pavlik is too predictable and slow and clearly no match for Paul Williams.

Thesboys have no clue about boxing....

They see a slick, VERY fast and skilled Sergio give Paul problems...

Now they think a one dimensional, slow, lumbering, plodding guy can do the same thing..go figure.

I don't even think that Pavlik could beat Shane Mosley at 160. I said it.

                  LOL

                  You guys are harsh.

But yeah, Martinez is fast as hell and a very cagy boxer. Plus he's a lefty to boot. The fact that he had success against Paul Williams tells us absolutely nothing about Pavlik's chances against PWill.

                      EXACTLY.............

Why would you look at a fight vs. a slick southpaw to guage how Paul will look aginst a slow right hander????

                      MAKES NO SENSE.
