I don't understand how people can't see 3 pretty obvious things


1. Martiunez is a southpaw

2. Martinez is at least twice faster than Pavlik. He throws punches from differewnt angles and hit Williams with punches he didn't see.

3. Martinez is much harder to hit and has a far superior defense to Pavlik.
There are no similiraties at all if you compare the styles and the two fighters. I

In addition, Williams would fight Pavlik very different than he fought Martinez. He has a longer reach than Pavlik, is quicker, and use more angles.
PW is trying to build a fanbase and went gung ho at Martinez and i thought won a close fight.

As a side note, i guess that horrible staph infection wasent that bad afterall. He couldnt fight PW one week before but was fully recovered for this tomato can.

the whole reference was in regards to how corrales could have controlled that fight from the outside with his jab, stating that he, like pavlik, was an outside fighter and acknowledging that the only reason either fight was as physical as it was is because the taller outside fighter, fought more of an inside fight

you're making something out of nothing. it's not like he was saying the fight was as great as corrales vs. castillo. if you actually paid attention last night you would see similarities in the two. there's nothing wrong with that. it was an entertaining fight, but unfortunately, a lot of people won't see that becuase of the way they look at espino.

to be clearer, he didnt even compare the actual fight... he said that pavlik is a better outside fighter, who wins by jabbing and using his straight right, but just like corrales in the castillo fight, he's not using his size or his outside ability, he's fighting in close
