it's kind of a catch 22 because cotto has been fighting tough fight after tough fight, but if he were to take on easy opponents then he would get no credit for anything. one thing i think at least in my opinion, that cotto has had a great career and has been in some serious wars, a little time off and some regrouping, and a new trainer and i think cotto will be in the top 3 of his weight class, at the A level.
i wasn't really a big cotto fan until the last few years, because he was being hyped up, but once i looked through all the fanboy ****, i noticed a class act in cotto and a true professional. i realized cotto is a asset to the sport and needs to be respected cause of that.
as far as arum and cotto's career being good or bad, i think it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't.
cotto can be back and come back good, he's a resilient fighter, with the right trainer, he can be world champ again, if he wants to?
