Freddie was unsuccessful against Floyd once before. So he's aware of the task he has ahead of him. It ain't gonna be easy.

He'll just advise Manny to open up and let his hands go when he gets close to Floyd, but to not get careless and try to win as many rounds as possible.

Manny will have to find some way to hurt Floyd, and if and when he does, he'll have to go in for the kill.

If Manny gasses himself out, he'll be in for a very long night. Or a very short one if Floyd decides he wants to go home early.

the biggest similarity of these two fighters is that they have very hard styles to adjust to, especially mayweather. which is one of the main reasons they are so hard to beat. im expecting this to start out like a chess match. pacquiao will flick his double jab while mayweather feints and looks for openings. mayweather starts throwing his signature leaping left hook over pacquiaos right jab. pacquiao will start to let his straight left hand go and will find some success with it early but mayweather will use his awkward defense to slip it. by about the 5th round mayweather will have completely adjusted to pacquiao and will start mounting a consistent offense. mayweather will be in his comfort zone and will consistently shoot the straight right hand and left hook, and when pacquiao gets close mayweather will clinch him. mayweather will cruise to a UD. scores will be like 116-112. at the end of the day mayweather will have to much speed, footwork and angles for pacquiao.

Both will lay traps,,,,, Pac will keep two things among many in mind, the leaping left hook that he will counter by going under and to his right while throwing the left hook to Mayweathers chin and its GOOD NITE IRENE !

I think Floyd is going to surprise people when he reminds us how fast he is. Manny is quick, but its hard for me not to argue Floyd's faster. I think the first few rounds will be exciting for Pacquiao supporters because Floyd will let him come forward, throw, try and figure out his timing and plan. Starting late in the second, into the third round, Floyd will start countering Manny as he throws, stepping to the side and using faster hands and reflexes to befuddle him.

This will throw Manny off for a few rounds, during which his attack will slow, Floyd will come on, and Manny will have to go on defense. This will help, but ultimately fail, and the seventh and eighth are Floyd's best yet. Manny isn't landing much, isn't throwing as much, and Floyd is landing more.

I agree people keep thinking about the speed of Manny and he is fast but its not the hand speed but the reflexes and timing. If Marquez could counter Manny and beat him to the punch imagine what Floyd will do. Granted Pac is not the same fighter and but Floyd is so much faster and slicker than anyone Pac has ever faced. I no people will say who has Floyd faced like Pac, well no one but he has faced faster opponents that have been southpaw. I also think Floyd is going to use the jab alot to make Manny think about jumping in. The fight will be close early and Pac may even have Floyd on the defense but once Floyd findings openings to counter he will let his hands go. I see Manny at some point jumping in and getting hit hard and Floyd will jump on him. Watch the Marquez fights it may not be the same Pac but he still makes some of the same mistakes.
