he will lose in any division

doesnt matter what division he fights in he will continue losing he wont avenge either loss to JMM or cambell. unless he fights in his home town against a fighter weaker than paulie. i dont see him winning against any good fighters in the division.

He lost fair and square, why is he saying he was reluctant to throw...

maybe it was because he couldn't

So he ****ed up...whaddaya' want? He went up to 140, got his ass handed to him and has realized the error of his ways. What do you expect he's gonna do? Give up the dough he can still make boxing?

I wouldn't mind seeing Diaz rematch some of those guys; JMM, etc...They were exciting fights the first time around. Bet Nate wants the dough and that was a fun fight to watch, wasn't it? So why not?

Wouldn't mind seein' him fight Casa or Guzman, both of whom are now far enough off their game to make it interesting and as a result are probably hungry for a few more decent paydays before they gotta' hang em' up for good.

He seems to draw good performances out of his opponents w/his style so let Diaz do what he can do...he's rarely in a boring fight. Hopefully they put him in there with guys that'll have to dig deep to beat him, or can't quite do it and we can all enjoy some competitive, exciting fights!

Good choice by Diaz. He doesn't belong at 140. I think he can accomplish quite a bit more at LW.

I don't "want" anything from him. I just find the whole thing laughable because he seemed so adamant - almost to the point of arrogance - that he belonged in the mix at 140, when everyone else could see that he was destined to fail. It took him 2 fights against the same pillow-fisted opponent to make him see that.

You've obviously taken exception to my poking fun, but hear me out. He dug his own hole, and now it's up to him to re-evaluate his standing within the sport. Does he lay off the Twinkies once and for all to improve his conditioning, or does he keep studying and allow boxing to become a secondary venture?

Campbell can't make 135 anymore, and I doubt Marquez can be bothered to fight Diaz again, since he already looks unlikely to defend his WBO title against Katsidis. There's much bigger money to be made for Marquez in a Hatton fight (the idea of which I hate, but it probably will happen next year).

I still think one of the best matches that can be made at 135 would be a Diaz-Katsidis rematch. The first fight was a good slugfest, and I'm sure Kats would like to avenge that defeat - what else is there for Diaz to do? Not much. Besides, that fight could very well be for the WBO title.

Good fights on paper, but I think both of them would beat Diaz right now. The lad needs to take some time out to think things through, because he's starting to lose direction with all these losses in the space of 2 years.

No hate from me. If I was hating, I'd be saying stuff like "Go home, Diaz! I never want to see your fat ass in a ring again!" But you won't hear me say that anytime soon, unless he keeps delivering sub-par performances.

All joking about his weight and body aside, I'd much rather be positive and hope that he returns with style in his next outing - he does indeed bring the excitement that boxing needs. Anyone would be a fool to ditch him so soon.

I just can not see Diaz becoming a champion anymore even at lw he just has the same gameplan for everyone he fights and at this point in his career it's too late to change.
