People seem to overrate the oldtimers, like they were some unbeatable superhumans! who can say how pac would do against them? its like people find a hard time being objective about this.

stop being so obsessed about older eras and give the new some credit. jeez

best southpaws: Marvin Hagler (people are still underrating him) and Pernell Whitaker. Maybe even Pacquiao depending on his future legacy too.. but i think he has at least some right to be on the top 10 southpaws list.

Not enough mentions for Winky Wright and Haggler.

I'll take Marvin Hagler over Pernell.
I have to agree with you bro, I will also choose Hagler over Pernell anytime anywehere....

                IMHO as it is ...

Hagler No. 1 Left handed All-Around Fighter
Pernell No. 1 Left handed Defensive Fighter
PAC No. 1 Left handed Offensive Fighter

i agree that boxing fans tend to wax lyrical about past fighters. There are plenty of the modern era who would whoop alot of guys ranked ahead of them on ATG lists quite easily.

But lets be serious Pac fans have him as a top 5 atg.....thats just not accurate or reasonable when all his victories are placed in context. I see far more Pac fans claiming he is top 5 atg or top 10 atg or just the plain no 1 atg compared to most of floyd fans on here who don't have the temerity to do **** like that.

How can Pac or Floyd be top ten stg with names like this:

                  - SRR
                  - SRL
                  - Duran
                  - Pep
                  - Armstrong
                  - Archie Moore
                  - Hearns
                  - Pryor
                  - Sweet Pea
                  - Ali
                  - Louis
                  - Foreman

the list goes on and on. From my POV neither floyd nor Pac have cracked the top 20 atg list.
