Tyson was in a bad era of heavyweights so was unlucky he didnt have his great opponents to fight, unlike Ali.

PBF is in the same position as Tyson. He didnt fight anyone that great, but also picked and choosed who he fought and in what weight class. Plus there are weak champions in certain weights and he took those on offer.

Floyd apologist are trying hard to convince people of all places a boxing forum that Floyd fought everybody???WTF

Ever since Castillo almost took out his zero (Castillo should have gotten the nod in their 1st fight), Floyd became a businessman marketing his zero to casual fans and he's doing good so far.

Let me put this way the only risky fight he took after Castillo was a no brainer money fight with Oscar.

Floyd are trying to over emphasize his win against Hatton who clearly doesn't belong at 147 and guys like Baldomir and his lineal and Judah and his skills but who are you fooling. Casual fans might get excited with the alphabet and belts but real boxing fans know who are the top dogs.

Floyd could have won against those guys but the FACT is he never fought them. you can't fight all of them but fighting most of them would have been enough.

The bottomline is there big huge fights that boxing fans wanted to see but Floyd avoided them.

While he obviously didn't fight everyone and he could have done more his career is fine. He beat a bunch of high quality fighters with a bunch of different styles, sometimes fights are not meant to be so they don't happean for one reason or another but that really does not take away from his career or anyones career.

I would have liked to see Floyd fight Casamayor back in the day though that is the one fight I would have really wanted to see him in, Mosley also but that could still happean.

when you are the best those who envy you pray for your downfall!!

for thhe record those guys that fought for showtime, had only one excuse they didn't want a fight that was a sure loss. it doesn't matter which network your with, lewis vs tyson proved that. another thing you cant fight them all, a true champion wants the best. Mayweather always look for the big fights. also when he was coming up he fought fighters at there weight never a catch weight. he beat them all at there best, no weight draning, iv fluids involved. Shane only wanted to fight after getting beat and lost his market value , the poor guy still can't get a ppv fight. Now that the bums have been weeded out, Margarita,Cotto,Caloszo, and PAUL WILLIAMS, . we are left with the true worriors. Pacman,Berto, and shane. Mayweathers team is so smart , too take some time off to recoupe. Let the cream rise to the top, while watching them and studying them. Now its time to take out the trash. Mayweather fought Marquez to show Pacman, that the guy who beat him twice and put him on the run he man handled him and played with him. believe me this is in the back of Pacmans head. PBF will beat pacman take his belts, then beat the winner of the Moesly vs Berto. After that he will retire again with all the belts, thats a smart ass plan. I can't wait, he must be the greatest!!
