Floyd is pretending to want the Pacquiao fight

Call me crazy, but a Malignaggi fight, after this OST mess, will be somewhat of a successful promotion. Everyone will now want to see Manny's next fight. Paulie is coming off a good win and he's a slick, defensive fighter (like Floyd). Paulie has been very vocal and public about Manny possibly being on PEDs. This will be a promotional topic in the lead up to the fight. And Paulie's got a big mouth, he'll promote the fight well. Plus, I'm sure Manny wants to make him pay for his part in all this.

a) Pease don't church up Paulie like he didn't get destroyed by Hatton and Cotto who are Manny's bitches.

b) Make him pay?? You mean reward him with the biggest payday of his life?

Couple of facts

1) We all know who the #1 Pound for Pound Fighter is
2) We all know who the #1 Pay-Per-View Draw is (Pac-Cotto settled that)
3) We all know who has more money in the bank (you won't see the IRS trying to garnish wages from the Pac)
4) We all know know who will end up having a better legacy, a greater standing in the ATG list, and the Boxing Hall of Fame.

Mayweather keeps talking about how he only cares about the money. If that was indeed the case, he'd be quite "******" letting the biggest money making fight in his career slip through his fingers. Hey may be "rich", but he ain't wealthy like the Pac (got proof of that with the IRS trying to garnish wages) and definitely needs this fight.

He has stated numerous times how easy it will be to beat Pac, if that was indeed the case - then there's something fishy about turning away the biggest money making fight in his career.

As for the PEDs (HGH, Steroids) - that stuff doesn't make you super human (one can't argue with the fact that Mayweather Jr. has sizable physical advantage). Maybe he thinks the Pac is on some "alien" undetectable **** - maybe a growth hormone extract from the energizer bunny

You might have a point if Floyd didn't have a history of calling out fighters and then refusing to fight them.

You might have a point if Floyd didn't agree to fight particular fighters and choose not to.

You might have a point if Floyd didn't just outright make excuses, lames ones at that, as to not have to step in the ring against certain fighters.


But,

you don't.

Floyd has STILL not faced a threat at WW since winning his lineal title..

Hed rather retire, make excuses like "we play basketball", make excuses about a fan base, or just accuse the guy of taking steroids....

Below is the sequence of events which will help you understand this. If after reading this, you still don't believe Mayweather is afraid to face Manny Pacquiao, then I don't know what to tell you.

1) Manny & Freddie call out Mayweather.

2) Silence from Floyd.

3) Manny says he's going to run for office and will NOT fight until after the elections.

4) Conveniently, Floyd NOW says he wants to fight Manny in March.

5) Manny says OK.

6) Silence from Floyd.

7) Freddie leaks insider information about Floyd wanting the fight at 154 with 10 oz gloves.

8) Floyd, scrambling to save face, says he'll fight Manny at 147 with 8 oz gloves, but...

9) ...he wants there to be "Olympic Style" drug testing!

10) Manny says OK.

11) Silence from Floyd.

12) Now Mayweather apparently wants "Wiggle Room" with the 147lbs weight limit.

Update (25 DEC 09)

13) Floyd wants Manny to undergo blood test moments before the fight.

14) Manny says Floyd can suck it.

15) Floyd releases a public statement inferring that Manny is using PEDs because he doesn't want to agree to his ridiculous testing demands.

16) Manny prepares lawsuit against the Mayweathers.

17) Silence from Floyd.

Floyd started this whole steroid scandal because he's jealous of Manny and scared to fight him. There is no other explanation. He has no supporting evidence of Manny using PEDs. All he has is his own insecure su****ion. Reasons why Floyd is accusing Manny of juicing:

• Manny stopped Oscar, a fighter Floyd barely beat in a typical Mayweather snooze fight.
• Manny TKFO Hatton in 2 rounds. It took Mayweather 10 boring rounds to stop the smaller Hatton.
• Manny moved up in weight to TKO Welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto, a fighter Floyd ducked.
• Manny Pacquiao is the P4P #1 Fighter on the Planet; Floyd is not.
• Manny topped Floyd's PPV sales.
• Manny Pacquiao is the face of boxing.

Floyd can't stand the fact that he's playing second fiddle to Manny Pacquiao. So he does what any high school drama queen would do... Raise false accusations and start rumors to discredit Manny and ruin his good name. And in doing so Floyd's left a **** stain on boxing as a whole.
