Alright "I'm Mr Boxing Knowledge & Everyone Else Is a Newbie", There was no money in a fight with Gayweather then, Shane wasn't ducking ****. And if Floyd was really looking for fights he wouldn't have went on to fight so many duds over then next few years. Get over it, that was like ten years ago, lol, you're hilarious. Floyd was practically a nobody early on at 130lbs even after he won the title, he could barely fill an arena. And when he was finally becoming a viable, worthwhile opponent for Shane, Shane was on his way up to Welter with his eyes on a megabucks fight with Oscar De La Hoya. When Shane was making millions with Oscar, Floyd was struggling with Emmanuel Burton, lol. Anyway, Shane would have whooped up on Gayweather then and he'll do it now.

And tell me this... Why don't Fraud fight Shane now? Why was he shaking in his shorts after Shane punked him? Why did he act way out of character and take his frustration out on poor Max Kellerman instead of Shane? Why did he retire when Cotto was knocking on his door at 147lbs? Why did he cherrypick Marquez for his comeback fight and then not even try to make the contracted weight? Why is he creating such a fuss prior to the fight with little Manny Pacquiao. Don't come here claiming to be Mr Old School Know-It-All just cuz you watched Gayweather fight Genaro or Manfredy. And after the Manfredy fight, where did Gayweather go? I'll make it easy for you, he went on to fight some chump named Rios on the TNT channel... Yeah. Oh, and I got that one on VHS too. So tell me, why would Shane want to fight some loudmouth punk, who would surely outbid himself and whose last fight was on TNT, when he had a future date with Oscar De La Hoya? I dont care if you witnessed floyds first fight ever at 106 lbs, this thread is ******, baseless, and puts fuel to the fire to help perpetuate this false idea that mayweather, even after bending several times to try to get this fight going, that hes "pretending" to do anything.

If Shane would have fought Floyd at 135 it would have solidified his rather average legacy at 135. He was a beast at that weight, but had very few notable wins.
