Are people overrating Mosley and underrating Berto?

why u doin D-fish dirty like that with ur avatar!!!!!!!!!!!Berto is no Winky Wright.....Berto will be there to be hit...and if Berto can get rocked by Collazo....I'm pretty sure Shane can spark him at least 2-3 times in the fight. Wouldn't be surprised if the ref stops the fight in the latter rounds....but a UD win is more likely.
lol corey brewer is sick...i thought he'd be better when he was drafted outta Florida a couple years back thoughComment

And why couldn't Berto even KD Urango????? Bailey was able to...even though he himself lost to Urango.....but come on....I give Berto no shot against Shane.....
People bring up that Shane hasn't fought in almost 1 yr.....Berto is hungry.....I'm looking at it the other way.....Shane is just as HUNGRY if not hungrier....he has been looking for someone to fight for the last 12mos (avoiding P-Will) but no one wanted to take him up on it.....Comment

In all honesy, I'm gonna have to go with "no". Unless Shane gets old over night, I just can't see Berto dealing with him. I think Berto has a pretty decent edge in handspeed, but Shane is almost as fast. Berto also has better foot speed, but he doesn't always use it to his advantage. He seems to suffer from "Zab Judah Syndrome". He has plenty of physical advantages, but I think he has lapses in concentration where he mixes it up unnecessarily. The guy is there to be hit, and I think Shane will come with the fight plan to do the hitting. Shane has a lot of experience, and I think this will make the difference in this fight. I think the plan he employed against Margarito was a result of experience, and he would have been successful even if Margarito was using wraps and steroids at the same time!Don't get me wrong, Mosley is a top welterweight and put on one of the performances of his career. But, do you that's being overrated?
I mean, Margarito's plaster wraps were removed and I think he basically fought a feather-fisted version of Margarito. He was open all night and Mosley took the opportunity to capitalize on it. It was just a bad style match-up for Mosley.
Berto's another story, though. He's got some good talent and, even though he had a very close fight against Collazo, he's still a top fighter in the welterweight division. The last time Mosley faced a good boxer was against Winky Wright and you know what happened.
I'm not saying Mosley is gonna lose, I'm just saying it might be a tougher fight than some expect.
What do you think?Comment

Sorry mayne...I had to....it was either the Wade / Sideshow Bob or Brewer / Fish...and personally....Brewer taking off from almost outside the paint and getting that much elevation over Fish (who by the way should've just got the F*!K outta the way) is up there with Ricky Davis ****ting all over Nash.....I spit my beer out when I saw Brewer/ Fish on Sportscenter....Comment

Someone needs to either ban his father from sitting front row where he "yells" instructions to his son and tries to play trainer....or he should buy his pops a luxry box to watch the fight from. That's the lapses in concentration I notice...In all honesy, I'm gonna have to go with "no". Unless Shane gets old over night, I just can't see Berto dealing with him. I use to be real big on Berto....calling him the next "Terry Norris".....but him not being able to put away Forbes, Collazo giving him more than a couple of problems, and not even putting a dent into Urango.....I will say it.....Berto = Hype.....or is it....Hype = Berto?
Willing to put 50K on Mosley...anyone?Comment

Man I was the same way when I first saw him fight. He has all of the physical attributes of a real champ, but there is something lacking somewhere. We've touched on his lapses in concentration. Do you think he would benefit from a change in trainers?I use to be real big on Berto....calling him the next "Terry Norris".....but him not being able to put away Forbes, Collazo giving him more than a couple of problems, and not even putting a dent into Urango.....I will say it.....Berto = Hype.....or is it....Hype = Berto?
