Are people overrating Mosley and underrating Berto?

Don't get me wrong, Mosley is a top welterweight and put on one of the performances of his career. But, do you that's being overrated?

I mean, Margarito's plaster wraps were removed and I think he basically fought a feather-fisted version of Margarito. He was open all night and Mosley took the opportunity to capitalize on it. It was just a bad style match-up for Mosley.

Berto's another story, though. He's got some good talent and, even though he had a very close fight against Collazo, he's still a top fighter in the welterweight division. The last time Mosley faced a good boxer was against Winky Wright and you know what happened.

I'm not saying Mosley is gonna lose, I'm just saying it might be a tougher fight than some expect.

    What do you think?

first thoughts were that mosley would beat his ass

i still favour shane, but have a sneaking feeling that this could be bertos coming out party and he may well take full advantage of this opportunity

Berto has a 50/50 shot at this. Mosley looked like **** against Mayorga, and only looked good against a stationary target.

this is gonna be a tough test for shane...some people might think he'll just steamroll berto but shane hasnt fought in a year...he's 157 yrs old and he's going in there against a kid that's hungry and has great skill

Other way around. They can't see Berto for the hype that he is. Struggled with and got dropped by an opponent that was blown out by Judah and Angulo. Lost to Collazo in a lot of people's opinion even though I had him winning that fight.

No. Those who think Berto loses handily believe so because Berto hasn't impressed much and may be overrated. Not because they're overrating Shane.

Another thing about this is, one fight Shane can look spectacular and the next one he looks like dog****.

That's been happening pretty regularly for the last 5 years or so.

You just never know which Shane you will get, although whatever Shane it is he's hard to knock down or out.

Berto is no Winky Wright.....Berto will be there to be hit...and if Berto can get rocked by Collazo....I'm pretty sure Shane can spark him at least 2-3 times in the fight. Wouldn't be surprised if the ref stops the fight in the latter rounds....but a UD win is more likely.
