We need to see him fight a top 20 fighter at LW in order to see if he's the real deal or not.

Valero is a hell of a puncher. He is very fast and unpredicable, but is unproved.

        Let's see what he got.

He was the chief sparring partner for Morales. Morales struggled with Valero in sparring, but whooped Pacquiao's ass in the ring as the underdog.

Also, Valero dominated Oscar in sparring and predicted a Pacquiao win by KO, he said Oscar was not even taking his training seriously.

After Pacquiao's birthday Party, an event in which Valero was a guest of, Valero met with Roach and got the opportunity to spar with Pacquiao at the Wild Card gym behind closed doors. The quote from Pacquiao after that sparring session was, "I'll never call him just another fighter again".

Is Valero the real deal? He has piss poor defense, just like Pacquiao, but he's always just a step beyond hitting distance for it to be a real problem. Once he lands flush, it's game over. A guy like Mayweather would expose him, but I think Marquez gets hit way too much. Unlike his fights with Mayweather, Barrera, Pacquiao, and Norwood, he will NOT be getting back up after a flush shot from Valero.

I've been saying these things for a while.
I am glad someone has finally posted the truth.

He has a lot of power but a skilled counter puncher would beat him.

j, how much of a chance do you think Valero has of beating Pacquiao? I don't think he'd win but it'd certainly make for an entertaining fight.

Honestly, I think he's pretty crap (relatively speaking of course).

                      Crude is an understatement.
