Ruiz has been in better shape in his recent fights than he has been in years.

He was at 227 pounds against Adnin Serin, that shows he was training for that fight like it was a Championship opponent. It was in fact his lightest weight since he fought Roy Jones in 2003.

Haye on the other hand, doesn't do road work and will probably be carrying 15 pounds of useless muscle into the ring.

In a fight that is destined to last until the later rounds I will take the guy who trains hard, is mentally tougher, and knows how to survive the rough spots everytime.

Ruiz will win by late TKO.

I hope all the Haye hate dries up once he faces a Klitschko.
Undisputed cruiserweight champion except he avoided one key fight at cruiser before moving up to face a joke Monte Barrett, then he RAN from the biggest heavyweight champion. (Oh yeah, you'll believe anything if you believe all Haye's fake injuries.)

Hi I just fought like ****, how convenient I broke my hand in the 3rd round or whatever.

Guess what, he ran in rounds 1-3 so what was his excuse for that?

Then he wants to sit down and discuss a Vitali fight. [Click Here To Read More]

          That's the question.
I agree.....IMO Vitali is a mountain too big for Haye to climb......but time will tell!

If Ruiz fights his usual ugly fight, I think he could give Haye some problems because he won't get much room to punch. I'd actually like to see this one. People give Ruiz a hard time because of his style, but he has some good wins under his belt. I actually think this would be the best win of Haye's career if he could pull it off.
Oh, I think Ruiz could make it an ugly fight and win, maybe even by ko. I just don't want most popular HW in the world John Ruiz to become even more loved and respected than he already is by ruining any chance for a meaningful HW title fight until the K-bros retire.

I think it's a mistake for him to look past Ruiz.

I dunno..........as much as I dont think much of Haye at HW, Ruiz is ancient now...

For a good paycheck he'll throw the fight...........what does he have to fight for?

Haye is gonna win. Ruiz dont want none...

Why dont Haye fight someone like Virchis? Now Id actually pay to see that fight.

Haye is dreaming. He is dreaming as a big time or special kind of heavyweight. He cannot and will never be. He is too small for the size of heavyweight nowadays. Even if he is small, he can be great if he has the quality of Mike Tyson, but even an iota of proof, he has nothing. What he has is a big mouth and a quick feet to run. Vitali nor vladimir will destroy him.

Damn true. Americans can't stand to see a British fighter do well/beat their own fighters so they just discredit them to the point where it makes out like they are frauds or don't deserve to be there. I think it's ****** considering our fighters work just as hard and since we give the Americans props for their fighters doing well.
