It's haye that I hate, not that he's a Briton. I could not care less what his country of origin is. The man's a **** stain.Comment

correcta mundo (?). i mean, i'd would rather see a 'roid-pumped haye knocking out every Clitz in the ring than a clean Haye running his way to a decision.I rarely watch the HW these days, I tried but was met with boring old fights, The best out there were the Klits and they either jab there way to boring fights or there opponents are just there to survive and collect a great payday, Its just unfair to the watching public who were use to better HW fights.
On a different note, 'roid has gotten a bad press lately, but the bottomline is the public is to blame. they want their 'stars' to act like superhereos and every athlete on earth who is worth his salt would want to do anything to prove his abilities as well as feed his family. Roid is 'bad' but so is the masses' expectations. read: gladiator.
I'm one of masses, BTW.Comment

Actually Haye is speaking "a" truth...... After he "beats up Riuz....."HW? wow, ever since moses lifted that heavy-weight block of testament I lost interest in heavy-weight division. joking aside, the HW div is just so boring right now I don't give a damn if the Clitz ko haye, or vice versa. tyson was great but he was the last of HW stars worth watching. sorry guys, i hope the HW gets their act soon...
Talking about Moses reminds me of a little story I heard many years ago.
"In the old days when Russia was ruled by the czar, a small company of Russian soldiers stopped for a rest at a ***ish village. It was a very poor place, but the captain, on going into the local inn, noticed a wall which had bullseye target circles, and in each one, the bullet hole was dead centre.
The captain, always needing good recruits, asked the innkeeper about the shooter. He sent him to the shooter's little hovel, and it turned out that he was the "village idiot".
The captain asked him where he'd learned his amazing shooting skill? The Dumbo replied,....
It's very easy, I learned it myself. The captain asked him further,....so the Dumbo said,
"You see, first I shoot the shot, THEN I draw the circle.............easy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
This comment by Haye reminded me of the story.Comment

Just to keep it with the unpopular and modest group of fighters, I'd say Ruiz, Byrd, Arreola, and 2-3 others I just can't recall right now. And don't forget the Klitschko's, a Johnson, Gomez, and the other condenders that the Klitschko's have beaten.
In fact, I'd back David Tua, even right now, before he's really found his comeback foting, to knock him half way across the arena, in the first 3-4 rds.
Of course if age has deteriorated their skills, then it's not a valid opinon.Comment

No question about it. And he's nearly always found a way to win. Many of his losses are VERY dubious, and could have gone either way, actually should have gone his way.
I like Ruiz, not because of "style", or even flanbuoyancy. I like him because he'll fight anybody, even a tiger in a cage, and he's brave and modest.
AND....... he really is a QUIET MAN...................Comment

Will you put points on Ruiz winning or are you all mouth? How about betting 50k on the fight? No question about it. And he's nearly always found a way to win. Many of his losses are VERY dubious, and could have gone either way, actually should have gone his way.

I must be "all mouth". Remind me at another time that "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" , because to me, you typify the old adage.
I've been a poster here for many years, and not only have I never made a bet, but have never been challenged to do so. Qiute frankly, I wouldn't know how.
The last time I made a bet was $1000 [real money] on a points win for a supposedly weak chinned and shaky W. Klitschko over Sam Peter, unbeaten at the time and regarded as a KILLER.
I regarded him as an undertaker's helper, disposing of mainly propped-up, dead bodies by KO, to build up his reputation........But, no one would listen to me........................
Can you imagine, Peter was the over-all favourite. I got, I think, 14-1........
The time before that when I had a bet, was on the Irish Grand National {which, for your information is a horse race} and I backed Overshadow to win. Being only a kid, I didn't bet much, so I didn't win much. I think that was around 1952 or so, maybe 1954.
Backing Klitschko to win, seemed more of a certainty, and much more financially rewarding.
Your challenge reminds me of a couple of kids in a school playground..............Comment

Haye has never been knocked out like Khan. He also has never quit considering he was in the middle of throwing a punch when the ref stepped in in the Thompson fight. Stop making ****** points.Comment
