A fight between Martinez and Chavez Jr. is really not that compelling. I mean who of note has Chavez Jr. fought and defeated? His undefeated record is overrated considering he's fought bums. A rematch between Martinez and Williams makes much more sense. Especially from a PPV/dollars and cents standpoint.

I really don't know why Martinez should fight him... I mean he now has a name why fight a guys like that. Chavez is not a big star in America... probably in Mexico... but does Martinez wants to make a name for himself in America or Mexico? Martinez is 34 or something so he shouldn't play around and cash in on his great performance

I don't understand why people don't want this. Sergio deserves a payday and this would be one for him especially in Mexico. It could serve as a tuneup for him he just had a tough fight against pwill. It will be fun to watch Sergio beat the **** out of JC JR so we don't have to hear about him any more. Plus maybe it could serve as sparring for a Margarito rematch??? Thats a fight I want to see.
