No, an opinion is that Martinez won. The FACT is that Paul Williams won the fight. 2 out of 3 appointed judges awarded him the decision, therefore it is official and final.

Yeah because we all know official judging has the greatest reputation in the world.....I never go by official cards I go by how I saw the fight, as everyone should do. If anything PWill should fight him again immediately to prove he really did win because most ppl think he lost.

It was a close fight that 2 out of 3 judges saw for Williams. Nothing wrong with that. Paul has the W next to his name. Martinez took the L and will get his rematch, but he has to earn it by fighting Dzinziruk. It wasn't a robbery so no immediate rematch is called for.

It was a razor close fight that was a robbery when one judge has his card made out a week before the fight with PWill winning 11 out of 12 rounds. wins and losses on paper mean nothing, in the end all that matters is what fans think of a fighter.....should Dirrell have to "prove" himself before he ever fights Froch again?

Why wouldnt this be a good fight, there is all these complaints that jr doesnt take on serious threats.
A loss is a likely outcome for Jr and I dont think it is such a bad thing for him at this point, it might even do him some good to lose to a class fighter.
by the way, i dont believe sergio says things like the article suggests, argentine spanish doesnt work that way.

PS. if this happens in mexico, Martinez better KO this boy cause the judges will Rob him. WILL ROB HIM

One bad scorecard does not make the fight a robbery bruh. Sorry to break it to you. Paul won the fight by winning the championship rounds. Martinez did more damage per punch, but Paul won every other score-able category. Martinez was lucky to get a fight with Williams in the first place. Paul beat him. All Martinez has to do if he wants another fight is beat Dzinziruk so Paul doesn't have to. Dirrell was actually robbed. How many punches did Froch land on Dirrell compared to Williams landing on Martinez. HORRIBLE comparison there bruh.
