For those that keep saying "the weakest era" the Klits have been dominating for a decade (how many so called ATG's have ever dominated more than a couple of years?) now and if they weren't, fighters (like Byrd, Peter and Arreola) that they've DOMINATED would probably be considered great!

The Lewis stoppage was controversial because Vitali was winning and the fight ended from a cut the was most likely caused by a headbutt and if the referee calls an accidental clash, then Vitali gets a TD... Also Lewis was ducking Vitali who happened to be his mandatory to fight Johnson and only took the fight because he'd look really ****** after Johnson got injured when Vitali quickly agreed to HBO to fight on short notice knowing that was probably his only chance to get the ducking Lewis in the ring.
Lewis was king of the division until he retired in 2003, Vitali has had 4 years off and Wlad has only been champ 4 years. That is not dominating for a decade now is it?

Lewis was going to fight Vitali after the Johnson fight, tha'ts why Vitali was scheduled to be on the undercard. The cut was caused by punches, if you watch the HBO broadcast it shows the punch that caused the first cut.

im sorry i likie lewis but he was getting spanked...even when vitai had one eye he was getting spanked....

His cardio would not have kept up with vitali's and had he not cut his eye..he would have been severerly killed...

but as you say, it was a legal punch so fairs fairs...but vitali>>>>>>>>>>>>>lennox...

I have a problem rating wlad too highly mainly because I am convinced that Vitali would beat him to a pulp. Its just not a great era,not their(and in particaulr,Wlad) fault. The idea of Wlad beating a prime Lewis,Tyson,Bowe,Holyfield etc. seems ridiculous, absolutely laughable imo.

Head to head I see them both in the Top10 of all time. Not many former ATGs would defeat them consistently.

But the lack of a deep resummee hampers their lagacy. With the lack of opposition, they will probably rank somewhere in the range of ATG 15-30, when they retire. A high KO-quota, long dominance and convincing victories will get them only so far, especially if the two brothers continue to share the top two positions without fighting each other.

At this day, they need Haye more than David needs them. So I'd say they need to pay for their resummee now by offering generous contracts. Valuev, Haye, Povetkin, Solis, and perhaps a few others would enter the ring, if their share would be like 5-10 million, not some 1-3 million.

Sosnowski was a tough guy with heart, but limited skills. Vitali paid 700,000 EUR IIRC, which is nowhere in the leage of a deal for Haye.
