This is going to be an epic fail. I still don't understand why he didn't just stay in boxing. Mayorga still is a popular name and still has some fight left in him. From a financial view it doesn't make sense.

I'm not sure if he did or not. Either way Mayorga can get big fights because he is exciting. When Angulo was undefeated he was supposed to fight him and I am sure he could get many pretty big matchups as a gate keeper versus a young and up and comer. He might of even had a few upsets up his sleeve. Just the name Mayorga versus anyone is interesting and people tune in. I think he made the wrong choice and will probably come back to boxing.
