1st he is huge as far as success goes and people in general dont like that because it reflects how bad off they are ,,, thats called the tall poppy syndrome .

2nd he is very confident in himself , people in general dont like that because they themselves have nothing to be ****y about so they like to look down on people that are , arrogance is often a false assumption when dealing with ****y confident people they have a winners mentality , its only arrogance if you cant back up if you can its confidence , with Floyd I think he talks it up to put pressure on himself to perform , its self serving , believe your great say your great must work to prove your great , all the greats have it only some keep within some put it out there .untill somebody beats him he has earned the right to be ****y , I dont like it myself but dont hold it against him , boxing is not a personality contest .

3rd his style is , a boxing ballet of grace skill and beauty and that style wont be liked by the majority meathead fraternity that want to see 2 men bash each other , the purists of boxing can appreciate what Floyd is while a young newbie to the sport dont understand what they are really looking at with Floyd , the way he controls an opponent is amazing one of the very best in ring generalship in the 40 yrs Ive been a fight fanatic .
