Why is Mayweather Jr. the Most Bashed Fighter in Boxing Today?

    Why is Mayweather Jr. the Most Bashed Fighter in Boxing Today?

    Is it because of his flamboyant personality and arrogant behavior that is so deserving of condemnation or are people irritated by his brash statements of self-proclaimed Greatness? I've seen so much trash talk being targeted at him in many forums. From dislike to extreme hate, it's everywhere. What's your take on this?

      To be honest, a combination of all of what you have already mentioned combined with his lack of vigor for fighting threatening opponents.

                  PBFs only reason to self proclaim greatness is if he had fought better fighters than Pac, but hasnt.

                  Pac is destined for ATG top 5, and hasnt uttered a word about his own greatness yet. So you work it out for yourself why PBF isnt too popular. Sometimes he seems like a good guy though PBF.

                      Because he's only about to fight one of the best fighters. It's time to take on the best at 147 or retire, period.

                              Manny is a great fighter but not a top 5 ATG. That is absolutely ridiculous. Almost as bad as him getting voted the 2nd best fighter of all time in that bull**** poll.
