What are you talking about, Burner is saying he was past it in 95, the ruiz fight was when 03? he was a few years removed from his prime but not 13 years and Joe at 36 wasn't exactly prime either in my view.

i know that, im getting at his point of not knowing when his prime was, i agree jones was in his prime in 95, but in the calz fight he was past prime.

LOL, cant remember exactly,but you said a lot,as did I back and forth for a week or so! Like I said in my first post,most here will be harsh and say **** that really doesnt apply as banter or to get a foothold in an argument,or just to wind other posters up, and thats a rarity from you for sure, but posters like burner,flawless,tunney etc. are at it constantly, and you just know that these people have absolutely no connection to the sport,because if they did,then they would treat it and its participants with respect.

I don't remember exactly, but yeah things are sometimes said as a wind up in the heat of the moment. I'm as guilty as anyone of that! 99 times out of 100 I'll not use terms such as "bum" though. If you see me doing it, please go ahead and pull me up about it.

Clearly but was Joe really prime? I just don't like when ppl make it out to be that Joe was this young up and comer cherry picking this old shot fighter when Joe was a veteran champion and most likely past his best against another veteran champion much further past his best....
