    Forgive me, but that's ridiculous.

Shannon Briggs - crap? No, Briggs was very good for a time and fought well against Lennox until it ended.

Golota - crap? No, Golota was also a good fighter who just never panned out because of mental issues.

You're underrating these guys based on how their career progressed and not on their overall accomplishments or their status at the time the snapshot was taken.

Rocky Marciano and Tysons eras were bad, maybe worse.

I disagree you left Tyson out of the equation in those years he always gave us exciting fights. Also Foreman was around until 97 and he made for some good bouts with Moorer and Holyfield.

Co Sign we had Bowe, Tyson, Lewis, Holifield, Moorer, Foreman, Golota to name a few I think even Frank Bruno was pretty solid and would be a decent HW now even Razor Rudduck.

Co Sign at the time we said the same thing about that era when we were living it. Don King was the main promoter back than and we probably could have had a few more good matches like Bowe vs Lewis or Tyson vs Bowe.

You could say the same for Wlad...He lost a few bums Cory Sanders??? Who has Wlad beat? More importantly who would he beat on that list? The fact that Vitali took those years off factor in on his value on any list. The fact that he is cleaning up for his brother and taking away from some good fights that could be made right now is crazy. Kevin Johnson WTF?? That fight was crap I don't know why Kevin Johnson fought that way and more importantly why Vitali couldn'ty finish him...Vitali has b@lls but truly his claim to fame is a loss to Lewis some 7 years ago...This era is crap to me I haven't seen one good HW fight at least that I remember in the past 7 years. The best fight I have seen has come out of Arreola and when this fatty can get a HBO contract faster that the HW Champ can what is that saying for the era in the HW division. Honestly HBO rather put Arreola vs Minto on the air than Wlad vs anyone not named Haye....Lefty

Worst eras must be pre-Louis, Holmes-era and this.

In terms of quality of fighters this is one of the worst, along with the 80s. But in terms of quality HW fights its certainly the worst.

Holyfield and Lewis at that time beats anyone in the division today and the rest give the Klitschkos competitive fights unlike the challengers today.

Lewis and Holyfield were well abover the rest like the Klits are today, the rest of that list is so so.
