Larry Holmes, one of the most underrated fighters ever.

More among the more general public, but among boxing circles, he's generally rated pretty high in HW history. I usually see him ranked in the top 5...in the top 10 about 99% of the time.

In my opinion I rate him second behind Ali.

i think he was...i think ali was way overrated because he was so beloved and since he said over and over again that he's the greatest people repeated it

Holmes is 1 of those cats who wasn't appreciated til he was gone.

Larry had a tough act to follow, and it kept him from gettin his just due while he was at his peak as ruler of the HW's.

In present context, everybody gives the man his props. Larry was a beast and is mos def an ATG HW.

Joe Louis and Ali are both greater easily. Larry Holmes might've been able to beat Joe Louis. Not Ali though.
