Why did Holyfield lose to Moorer then was able to beat Tyson?

    Good point, I thin Evander was not only healthier vs. Tyson, but more focused and more motivated....the Tyson fight was Evander's Rumble in the Jungle, the fight that would take him from boxing greatness to Boxing Immortality

      Moorer only won the fight because he though Teddy Atlas was going to stab him if he didn't.

        who cares....every fight is different

        most likely his training was diff for that fight

        and styles make fights..

          All the pieces fell into place. Holyfield was probably gettin a lil panocha on the side at those times. He looked tired. Maybe his heart or shoulder was bothering him. IMO, he didn't look healthy. Moorer IS a southpaw with quick fists who was the underdog with something to prove. Teddy Atlas did a good job in the corner.
          All in All, i still think Holyfield should have kept his title that night. In the rematch, Moorer looked like a bum.
