I have video and have SEEN some of his fights.

Ali is the greatest. He was in more important fights and beat greater fighters then Robinson did

        1. Muhammad Ali
        2. Sugar Ray Robinson

These 2 names are interchangeable....but there would never be another boxer who comes close to these 2.....boxing meant much more to people when Muhammad Ali was fighting and Ray Robinson was having fights 3 times a week, to pay his bills

He was a welterweight and was fighting a super middleweight. I don't think he's unbeatable, there just hasn't been a person born yet(including Jesus) who could beat him while weighing the same as him. Maybe there will in the distant future.

He was a welter fighting a middleweight. Don't let the half pound you read on boxrec fool you. It was common back than to let opponents come in slightly over the limit in non title fights if they chose to. And just because he was never able or didn't fight them, there were guys who fought at 147 (Burley, Leonard, Hearns, Benitez and maybe Duran) who were better fighters at that weight than LaMotta was when he beat Robby. Great fighter? Yes. Unbeatable? No.

Robinson had a couple of other fights with guys his size around that time that were close decisions that maybe could've gone the other way (due to the lack of footage we can only go by what was written).

If you're fighting 20+ times a year, often against very tough opposition, you're bound to have a bad night or run into a bad style matchup. Everyone is beatable, it just often depends on the situations and circumstances.
