In regards to Joshua Clottey, I think it would be fair to say that a little bit could have gone a long way with him in his career. Now 60 punches is of course just a rough estimation but over 3 fights, one less headbutt in a fight he was winning and a few more punches in about 4-5 rounds between two fights with Cotto and Margarito and I think Clottey could be undefeated and have a record of 38-0. He would also have an outstanding resume with wins over Baldomir, Cotto, Margarito, Corrales, Judah, in addition to Richard Gutierrez......Clottey is in my view one of the most skilled boxers in the world and has never been decisively beaten. He should have beaten all 3 of the fighters he lost to but he just doesn't do enough in close rounds and dropped the decisions and was QD'd once in a fight he was winning. I view the losses as really paper losses that wins over him proved very little in not anything for Baldo, Cotto, and Marg. I think this is the case with all losses on anyone's record in close fights. If Clottey did have a record of 38-0 in a few close fights mentioned where he did a little more would it change you opinion of him greatly?
