Ronnie Shields - Worst Trainer of the Year

1st - I just want to start off by saying I am a huge Juan Diaz Fan.

I dont really blame Juan Diaz for losing the fight. He fought his heart out and did not give, not to mention he also stepped up to the plate to give Paule a rematch.

I am really pissed off at his Training Camp. I mean come up guys, it is critical to have your fighter in tip toe shape. Juan Diaz looked like **** out there. He has jelly rolls, love handles and flabby arms. WTF!!!!Are you serious?

When you are headlining a HBO event ,how could you let your fighter let go of himself. As trainers you should make sure that your fighter is well prepared.

I know alot you out there are going to argue that "having muscles doesnt mean ****" or say "every one is not built the same" But come on guys. Are you serious.

Look at the elite fighters at 140 , Bradley, Khan, Urango, Alexander. These guys are in great shape. Juan has nothing on these guys.

The problem with Juan, is that he is slow and does not have any power behind his punches.

PLEASE JUAN if you are reading this...GET A MEMBERSHIP TO 24 hours or LA Fitness. Hell, I will even be your work out partner.

You represent Houston and we are proud of you.

Get back in the gym and show the world what you are made of.

Juan Diaz Cut the fat and hit the weights.

Ronnie Shields get off your a ss !!!!!

first of all, shields made diaz into what he is today in terms of his progress and development. Juan is who he is and nothing more, with little power and not alot of athleticism, it great hes gotten where he is today, but at this point, to blame shields is just ******

All I am saying is that juan diaz is in the f ucking Light Weight Division. He looks like a fat ass. He should be lean and cut. I am not saying he needs to bulk up like Hulk Hogan or anything, but he needs to work on his speed and tone up his arms. Thats not asking too much.

There are no excuses PERIOD. His training camp, health guru, sparring partners should of been on his ass. The good thing is that Juan is still young and can improve. .

Hopefully Victor Ortiz could show him the way to the gym since they both work for Golden Boy

Juan reminds me of Chris Arreola.

please help me out then, hes all ive seen him with the last 5 or 6 years hes been on tv. i figured thats who guided him, but either way, shields or not, i dont see anything in diaz that suggests a new trainer would do anything, hes taken himself as far as he possibly could even at one point owning the division
