i doubt if anyone would ever adapt this defense in mma..... it is a defense meant for the science of boxing and not at all applicable to street fighting style such as mma.

the moment a fighter use a shoulder roll, what happens next is he would be wrestled down for an arm lock.....

mayweather's skills is only his, and it's for pure boxer only.... it is something that cannot be adapted by any fighter... you need to be special to be able to do it.

You can't use it in MMA. It begs for a low kick. And when the low kick hits you, that's knee damage right there. Also it makes it super easy to take you down (on your back) and choke you easily because if you shoulder roll in mma its obvious u don't know what you are doing on the ground and will get chocked. Easily.
