I heard the interview he had with 97 ruff about his thoughts on the loss and ortiz said he was having problems with his brother and sister...usually his brother Temo cuts his hair before fights and in this one with maidana he looked scruffy (no ****) and Temo was no where in site...so he was going through some stress or issues

Look, people react different to situations.....like he said he made those comments about not being sure if he wanted to fight because he was ****ing emotional....People ****ing marinate that ****ing interview so much it ain't even funny!!!

He fought on Saturday and won didn't he??So any accusation of him not wanting to fight anymore should be thrown out the window!!!he is taking the right steps to come back and move on to great things...the guy he fought this weekend is a former champ and a really though fight for anyone and all you guys do is bash on him???!!!I thought he looked really good...he was patient and looked fast.

And are you guys forgetting that this Maidana guy is a though fighter in his own right with all but one of his fights ending in KO?And guess what....Ortiz floored him 3 times!!!Yes, he did not perform as expected but he is young....why shouldn't we give him a chance like so many others have had??

I just think you guys hate on fighters for the sake of just hating or maybe something else but he does not deserve all this hate.....why not hate on Campbell too...the ****er deliberately attempted to get out of a fight in order to ensure he didn't get a loss and I don't see him being hated on......what about Malignaggi???The guy is a ****ing cry-baby and you guys praise him??!!Vasquez quit in his first fight and guess what....he came back and stopped Marquez!!!

as a Victor fan, i really wish they didn't take that Maidana fight


the main event for that fight was supposed to be Juarez-John and when John pulled out, Victor became the headliner

headlining a card AT Staples Center...his backyard...against a very tough fighter with a lot of heart...

totally ****ed things up...he was on the up and up


as a fight fan, i'm glad he got his 'heart-check' early...the road got tougher but now, there's an extra chip on his shoulder...skies the limit for the kid...i'd like to see him get back to where he was prior to the Maidana fight
