BoxingScene.com received a surprise call from IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green, presently relaxing in the United States. Green flew in to support his close friend Vic Darchinyan, who knocked out Tomas Rojas in two rounds on Saturday night in California. Lol @ Danny Green flyin' high off of a fluke win over old Roy Jones' ghost and trying to parlay it into other big fights. I don't see Bernard fighting him, but stranger things have happened.
Danny, I give a lot of respect to you but you should admit it was an illegal punch that landed on the back of the head and you were lucky to even beat the faded version of Roy.Comment

Danny Green became somebody when he knocked out Roy Jones. Listen, I don’t believe any Hall of Famer has gotten knocked out in less than two minutes in the history of boxing. So why not piggyback off that? Why not use that?” Hopkins said. “I can see the promotion now! Can Danny Green do the same thing to Bernard Hopkins that he did to Roy Jones in Australia? That’s it!
