You had to of lived in that era to of realised what the Tyson era was all about, if your under 30 you won't understand, the guy was seen as superhuman, a king yet only a kid, he appeared invincible because he'd never even been close to being hurt let alone knocked down. The excitement that Tyson brang us was incredible.
Obviously Tyson had a lot of problems away from the ring before the Douglas fight - he was using a lot of anti-depressants, drinking heavily and getting high with Japanese **********s the night before the Douglas fight. He didn't train right Post-Rooney, he didn't prepare properly for Douglas. It remains by far the biggest unexpected upset ever in boxing, nothing even comes close. It was just outrageously unbelievable what happened that night in Tokyo, because Tyson was genuinely seen as invincible!

2pm: have another meal (steak and pasta with fruit juice drink)
3pm: more ring work and 60 mins on the exercise bike (again working those huge legs for endurance)
5pm: 2000 sit-ups; 500-800 dips; 500 press-ups; 500 shrugs with a 30kg barbell and 10 mins of neck exercises
7pm: steak and pasta meal again with fruit juice (orange i think it was)
8pm: another 30 minutes on the exercise bike

The diet is crazy and dont see why it has to be same food all the time. Surely theres other food out there that would give same ingredients but different flavour. Whats wrong with chicken?
